Favicon Kit - Retired

Status: Archived

As of March 25, 2025, Favicon Kit is officially retired and archived. This project has been a labor of love, providing tools to simplify favicon extraction for developers and designers. However, I’ve made the tough decision to step away from maintaining it.

Why It’s Retiring

Life moves forward, and so do priorities. I’m shifting my focus to other endeavors that demand my time and energy. On top of that, the monetary cost of keeping Favicon Kit running has grown beyond a "minor" expense. Maintaining it solo is no longer sustainable, as I need to redirect those funds elsewhere.

What This Means

  • The service is no longer operating (the SSL certificate has expired).
  • This repository is now read-only. No new updates, features, or bug fixes will be added.

Thank You

A huge thanks to everyone who used Favicon Kit, contributed ideas, or spread the word. It’s been awesome seeing it help folks out there.
